In different situation virus attack our windows and make our folder option disappear.
This step is how to show folder option in windows xp
1. Click Start - Run - type GPEDIT.MSC
2. Expand to
User Configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Windows Explorer
3. Double-click "Remove the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu" in
right side pane.
4. If it is set to "Enable" or "Not configured" then set it "Disable".
5. Click Start - Run - type Regedit
6. Here expand to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\POLICIES\EXPLORER
4. in the right-side pane check for the DWORD value NoFolderOptions
5. If it is not there then create a new DWORD value by right-clicking
NEW-DWORD
6. Type a name 'NoFolderOptions" and press Enter.
7. Double-click the entry and set the value to 0
8. restart computer.
